Box Office Performance
They Call Him OG had a massive opening, becoming a major box office earner for 2025.
| Box Office Metric | Collection (Approx.) | Notes |
| Worldwide Day 1 Gross | ₹154 Crore | Included ₹20.25 Cr from paid premieres (Day 0). |
| Worldwide Closing Gross | ₹283 – ₹300 Crore | Achieved in about 11 days. |
| Highest Grossing Telugu Film of 2025 | Yes | Surpassed other major Telugu releases of the year. |
Verdict Note: While the film achieved massive gross collections, setting a record for Pawan Kalyan, some trade analysts suggested that due to the exceptionally high pre-release business and budget (₹250 Cr), the distributors may have incurred losses, classifying the film’s return as a Hit or Super Hit but not necessarily a Blockbuster based on recovery ratios.
